Sunday, May 4, 2025: My thoughts.

This morning, I awakened enveloped in a heavenly sense of bliss, utterly pain-free and overflowing with gratitude. The sun poured through my window, casting a golden glow that transformed the space into a cozy haven. As I rose from my slumber, I brewed a steaming cup of decaf coffee, inhaling its deep, intoxicating aroma that danced through the air. For breakfast, I indulged in a piping hot bowl of oatmeal adorned with luscious, plump blueberries. With every mouthful, my heart swelled with appreciation for these exquisite, simple joys. It’s these precious, fleeting moments of warmth and happiness that ignite my passion for sharing my reflections.
Since embracing this vibrant and healthy lifestyle, I’ve observed, just as my doctor predicted, that with each pound I shed and every healthy choice I make, the pain that once burdened me fades away. I must confess, her insights have proven invaluable! I cannot take all the credit; I am incredibly fortunate to have a remarkable dietitian by my side, constantly inspiring me and guiding me toward my goals with unwavering support.
At first, I worried that exercise would be a struggle for me. Then I discovered that I needed to find a workout that suited my needs. I started with a YouTube search and initially tried Jessica Fitness, which worked for a little while, but it still didn’t fit me. When COVID happened, I found Metro Therapy, which offers chair workouts that work perfectly for me. They are so much fun and set to music. What really caught my attention was the instructor’s personality!
I was absolutely thrilled to share my journey with my dietitian, who enthusiastically revealed that just 150 minutes of purposeful movement each week could help me shed those stubborn pounds. She encouraged me to aim for at least 20 minutes a day, and I’ve been on fire, consistently managing to do 25 minutes, and even more at times, especially when I break it up into energizing sessions throughout my day!

I genuinely believe that encouragement and motivation are powerful forces that can uplift others, and that’s my mission: to ignite that spark of inspiration in everyone around me. One of my absolute favorite activities is meditation, and embracing yoga has transformed into my exhilarating new challenge. I am absolutely enchanted by meditation—it’s my sanctuary, a powerful remedy that dissolves my anxiety. This deep connection inspired me to create the concept of “Unwind & Unweight.” This is not just a journey; it’s a heartfelt mission, and I truly hope it resonates with others, helping them to achieve their own magnificent goals.
